ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Great video. Where should the left elbow be pointed? Hogan said both elbows should be close together, but should the left elbow be pointed down or at the target?

Hi and thanks Danny, another great video. I have been looking for answers for my power loss, especially with my irons, i get what your saying regarding posture, however i have been working on keeping my left arm straight at address, not locked but in a strong position? as i feel if i get the grip to close to my leg in the set up it feels too weak and i start getting to many moving parts in the takeaway? And then i start flipping and thinning etc.etc.

The answer..is the clubs determined how close you are to the ball

.I went for lessons and my teacher told me it is not important for connection in the backswing. She said I need width in the golf swing.I struggle with my golf swing .Your video suggest otherwise but makes a lot of sense.I used to connect my biceps to my chest and hit straighter and longer shots.I will follow your instruction and see how I go,will keep you updated.

Hi Danny. Best videos I have seen…..in particular I found the lag video and the draw video excellent….this may be a silly question but I believe the lag drill is critical for solid ball striking and I am determined to solidify my draw….can you make a video putting those together or is it not necessary and just watch the two? Thanks

Hi Danny, another great tip, please ignore the thumbs down that you get. I am an advocate of Homer Kelly’s “ Golfing Machine “ and everything you say is in keeping with the physics and geometry that was so brilliantly described by Mr Kelly. You are in fact brilliant, keep these lessons coming. Tom from North Carolina👍🏻👍🏻
