Re: Justin Rose. No, you dim bulb. A "shank" does not carry over a bunker; it goes directly left without elevation because it is hit upon the hosel, which provides no loft.

tiger DID NOT hit a shank. tiger hit a skull. the ball went straight directly to and past it's target because he didn't lift and check the ball thus essentially flying the green. nothing pisses me off like doing this. i don't mind slicing a drive nearly as much as skulling a chip across the green.

Even a pro golfer isn't immune to shanks and other horrible shots. I was watching Davis Love III during a practice round and he topped his driver and it barely dribbled past the women's tee. Shit happens.

Did not give us any idea of the dollar cost to an individual player. Even ballpark estimates would be nice to see. Per tournament, etc.

You do know PGA tour players get courtesy cars every week, they never rent cars… and making the cut you're guaranteed atleast $20,000 dollars normally! Don't think tour players barely make it by by not winning! They have many sponsors we don't know about! Trust me just making $50,000 every event can make them a very good living!!

Golf is the most difficult Sport those Pros are pros for a reason and to earn a living its hard to win those tournaments are extremely difficult because you aint just playing for just 45 minutes its takes 4 days of concentration to win at the end. Golf is truly the best sport
