Nice, but as a beginner, I don’t want to invest too much too soon. I mean what if I end up not liking it? So rather than getting a driver or a sand wedge I got a 6 iron and a putter. If I get hooked then I will add more clubs. Is this a mistake?

Your iron looked pretty small for you, I'd suggest a size up.

I can be consistent with moving the ball yardage wise and straight but when I get on the green to par or better, it takes me like 50 shots because the green is massive angled. 🙁
