how do i get in to golf prep schools

It doesn't matter how much you practice if you're practicing incorrectly. Perfect practice makes perfect, not just practice. Swing mechanics and a proper swing coach make it much easier to succeed versus trying to become amazing at something you cannot self coach.

scrape through as a trainee, hope you can get into a decent club with a decent pro shop and strike it lucky with an over priced coaching clinic/lesson clientele, end up getting fat, drinking too much and playing off mid figures That's the reality if you don't actually "have it"

Surely ‘talent’ is the real difference between pros and ams? Well balanced practice or not!
Love that swing btw
Looks like you were crushing it

I agree with what you are saying but the the range time I have just witnessed is far from pro like. I get it, you have to repeat shots but do this with a routine and leave the square meter zone and do couple of air swings in between. Do you record how many shots you hit left, right or center? If you would do you likely hit 50% less balls but will be as efficient or hopefully more. The Practice Manual might give you some hints. Good luck and hapoy swinging 🏌️♂️⛳️

Hogan also said you need a good golf swing. Without a good golfswing you can train as much as you like, but you will never reach the top.

(my) normal working day: 06:00 get up; 06:30 drive to work; 18:00 return from work; cook and eat until 19:00; 19:00 – 20:00 quick house cleaning, reading mails, take a shower and preparing for next day; freetime 20:00 – 21:00; 21:00 – 06:00 sleep… repeat… How to manage 6 hours of training on working days? If you've got enough money or earn money while golfing, that's great, but how can an average person become a pro then?

Get up at 6:00, hit the driving range for three hours then go play 18. Quick lunch, 3 hours chipping, putting, sand shots. Nine more holes. Back to the range to work on weak points.
Do that 6 days a week, play in any and all tournaments you can find to hone your competitive abilities, strategy and mental game. Remember the PGA tour is made up of the top .01 percent of the guys who think they’re good enough to to play on the PGA Tour.

I thing I live by is when ever I'm not practicing there is another person out there who is and that person could get there card and I won't just from one day

Hi
When I look at good player practice, most of them are not practicing like a pro. 80% and + of there practice are hit the ball has far they can do with the club they have in there hands. When I practice I can hit 100 swing (balls) and for the normal good player they have to hit 200 and + ball to equal the quality of my practice.

What in the world happens when you have to go to school as a kid

I have seen pros practice for hours and do well during practice, but flops when it matters in a championship or tournament. And I seen vice-versa terrible practice and excellent game. I think skill is involved yes, but rest, patience and a clear head matter most.
