This is one of my very favorite golf swing drills that help golfers improve their golf swing very quickly. Having a good consistent move through the ball that allows the combination of technique, golf swing mechanics, and natural insticts is the key for good ballstriking , consistent golf shots and more power that you can trust. This feel is key for a lot of golfers. it might just help you play your ideal golf game. In this video, Alex explain’s how to improve backswing golf for a perfect drill. This great ball striking compression drill improve your golf to take a proper golf swing. There are a lot of ways to compress a golf ball but If you ask me how to compress a golf ball. So that I suggest watching my video first to learn perfect and best golf compression drills.
Golf backswing drill is not only about clearing yourself out the way. It’s a way of generating the power to compress down through the ball and it’s simply just moving the right foot back.
It shows me many things, multiple times again and again with golfers of all ages they can suddenly do that. How should a backswing feel? You know get out of your own way but also the compression that can be obtained and the release that has to occur because of the right foot behind. So all we’re doing it.
Again we’re always trying to make it really simple in these simple tweaks just to feel so here’s my normal swing.
0:59 Here my normal address position. I’ve got my target there and now I’m gonna make my swing and that was fine. What I played a little fade? nothing spectacular. I didn’t try and hit too hard.
1:11 Now again the same setup position, I’m going to root bring my right foot back in line with my left heel. Now that’s going to feel like I haven’t got any weight on this side. It’s mostly on the lead leg. Doesn’t mean I’m completely tilted and just braced a bit more.
1:30 So I’m making sure, I’m behind the ball and now what you’ll see if I can make a very nice full backswing with ease but I have to make sure that I stay down.I don’t rush at the ball. I don’t force myself through, I have to wait and then I gather to be able to get this the velocity that I want so from this drill we can just don’t want to whip it on the inside and that’s why I’m going to show you from this angle.
1:59 We still want the same backswing. It’s just our leg is out the way so when I swing back we can compress through with very effortless velocity.
So now you try it several times just to feel how much easier you can get behind and how you have to move is a natural occurrence to get through the ball.
It’s a very effective way to improve your backswing drill and transform how you strike the ball.
